Snowy Trails & Shikara Tales

Day 1: Srinagar
On arrival at Srinagar, you will be met by our representative at the airport and transferred to your Deluxe Houseboat. Take an afternoon Shikara ride on Dal Lake and view some interesting places around the lake.
Overnight on houseboat.

Day 2: Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar (186 km)
Breakfast. Enjoy a full day excursion to Pahalgam (Vale of Kashmir) at 2440m above sea level. En route, visit Saffron fields, Avantipur ruins, and Anantnag sulfur spring. Pahalgam is a popular location for the Indian Film Industry. Enjoy the natural charm of the valley. In the evening, return to your houseboat in Srinagar.
Overnight on houseboat.

Day 3: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar (112 km)
Breakfast. Go on a full day tour to Gulmarg, one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. It is also popular for its summer golf course, the highest in the world, and for skiing during the winter season. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. Take an optional Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg. In the evening, return to Srinagar.

Day 4: Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar (168 km)
Breakfast. Enjoy a full day excursion to Sonmarg, a beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way, stop at many beautiful spots. Continue to Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold) at 2690m. Take an optional horseback ride to the Thajiwas Glacier, where snow remains year-round. Sonmarg is also known as the Gateway of Ladakh. In the evening, return to Srinagar.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 5: Srinagar - Local Sightseeing (50 km)
Breakfast. Full day tour of the world-famous Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh – Garden of Pleasure, Shalimar Bagh – Abode of Love, Cheshma Shahi – Royal Spring Garden, and the Shankaracharya Temple, which offers a fantastic view of the city and lakes. In the evening, return to your hotel.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Srinagar
Breakfast. Check out and transfer to the airport.
End of Tour.
